Acer platanoides ‘Drummondii’ | Variegated Norway Maple | Drummonds Maple

The Acer platanoides 'Drummondii' is a cultivar of the Acer platanoides, Norway Maple. A medium-sized, deciduous tree with a neat, rounded crown. The most striking feature of this tree is its five-lobed leaves that are green in the centre with creamy margins. The leaves turn yellow to orange before falling in autumn. The Acer platanoides 'Drummondii' is a hardy, vigorous tree that will do well in most soil types including chalk, and will tolerate pollution and some drought. It's best grown in full sun with light shade. Too much shade will affect the brightness of the leaf colouring.
