Amelanchier x lamarckii | Snowy Mespilus | Juneberry

A beautiful, small and hardy deciduous tree or large shrub. The Amelanchier x lamarckii is a great choice for all landscapes because it provides all year round interest. This tree blossoms in April with masses of delicate, white star-shaped flowers and coppery-pink coloured leaves; a wonderful sight in early spring. The small leaves turn green in summer and finally provide a display of red and orange in autumn. The Amelanchier x lamarckii tree also has red or black berries in summer that, by autumn have ripened and are edible! This tree is also a favourite for bees, birds and other wildlife.
