Sorbus aucuparia ‘Joseph Rock’ | Mountain Ash ‘Joseph Rock’ | Rowan ‘Joseph Rock’

A popular variety of the Sorbus aucuparia that provides interest all year round. An upright tree when young, this specimen becomes more rounded as it matures and can reach 7m in height. It has small, dark green pinnate leaves that turn a fiery flame-red in autumn. Creamy white flowers appear in May and June, followed by yellow berries that hang in clusters from late summer and usually, through winter. The berries provide a great contrasting colour with the red leaves. The Sorbus aucuparia 'Joseph Rock' will grow well in most soil types and can be found in many gardens throughout the country.
